From devising marketing campaigns to planning for expansion, seniors at the Maine Business School have engaged with peers from around the world to address pressing issues faced by various companies. For the second consecutive year, Ivan Manev, a professor in the fall International Management class (MGT 445), enrolled students in X-Culture, an innovative and large-scale international collaboration initiative.
Through X-Culture, students form diverse teams that include members from different countries, cultures, and academic backgrounds. This unique setup not only enhances their understanding of global business practices but also equips them with practical skills that are essential in today’s interconnected marketplace.
Participants are tasked with real-world projects, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to tangible business problems. As they navigate challenges such as market entry strategies and customer engagement, students gain invaluable insights into international business dynamics. This experiential learning opportunity prepares them for successful careers in a globalized economy.
